As the well-serviced national carrier scores rapid development and global reputation, RwandAir now navigates to and from Kigali on three major international non-stop routes. As a perfect solution for UK travelers, RwandAir now flies to Gatwick, UK once a week. This connection complements those of British Airways and KLM, which connect to Kigali from London Heathrow, UK, and Amsterdam Schiphol in the Netherlands, respectively.
This new connections adds to the numerous possibilities to add a day or two on to your safari experience in rural East Africa. Given Uganda’s southern conservation circuit, it remains easy to experience Bwindi NP and Mgahinga Gorilla NP for their mountain gorillas, Queen Elizabeth for rich and prolific game watching experiences, and marvelous views of the Virunga massif, Lakes Mutanda and Bunyonyi.
On the 14.07.2017 RwandAir reached another potential milestone for a second nonstop flight from Kigali to Brussels, Belgium. All returning flights from Brussels to Kigali are via London. Rwanda is once again excited to announce that it will start direct flights to Mumbai in India as soon as by September, increasing to three nonstop travel schedules; the airline will again fly from Kigali to Mumbai with a stop-over in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania.
This will again increase the local tourism potential in the region and the airline will serve the route with four weekly flights scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. We look forward to welcoming you and your team for your very own mountain gorilla trekking experience, soon.
